Shaders for VirtualDJ
Using shaders in the video output is a useful way to accompany audio-only tracks, cover unsuitable footage or make a live stream stand out.
With more than 20,000 shaders available from Shadertoy in varying levels of quality, finding ones that look good in VirtualDJ and run smoothly can take time. The original VirtualDJSkins team compiled a collection of more than 450 shaders selected for VirtualDJ.
Installing shaders
Download the shader pack, extract its contents and copy the files into the Visualisations folder used by VirtualDJ.
Windows
C:\Users\{Username}\Documents\VirtualDJ\Plugins\Visualisations
Mac
/Users/{Username}/MyDocuments/VirtualDJ/Plugins/Visualisations
Restart VirtualDJ after copying the files. The installed shaders will then be available from the video visualisation controls.
